I want(ed) to be a Disney princess because they bring children's dreams to life. Through research-informed media, technology, and education, I can do this in a scalable way.
About
I began my journey in education as a camp counselor when I was 15, where I discovered my passion for working with children. This led me through roles in non-profits, a children’s museum, startups, and classrooms. By leveraging technology and media, I create spaces where children feel excited to learn, see themselves represented, and explore the world with confidence.
As a learning designer and researcher, I believe in the power of education to spark curiosity, build resilience, and drive meaningful growth. While studying Human Biology at Stanford, I focused on child development and how education can foster social-emotional learning. I deepened this work during my master’s at Harvard, combining design thinking with research to create impactful, user-centered learning experiences. In classroom learning, I design playful, hands-on learning experiences that encourage creativity and problem-solving. In informal settings, I use media and technology to create engaging, inclusive content. I build mirrors for children to see their own experiences and windows into diverse perspectives, making learning fun and accessible.
