Context

After I taught in the Stanford Bing Nursery School classroom for the summer of 2022, I developed an exploratory study looking at the social-emotional opportunities when 3-5-year-olds do art together. 

Findings

A few findings include opportunities for peer learning, social-emotional competencies, and innovation through exploration. Insights about children painting together are significant for how humans learn to engage in interpersonal communication.
